FAQs

The five steps of Invitro Fertilisation are:-

Step 1: Medications. The female is injected with the hormones to trigger healthy eggs evolution. 

Step 2: Harvest the eggs. Eggs are then fetched from the ovaries through trivial surgery.

Step 3: Fertilization. They amalgamate the eggs and sperm in a lab through various fertilization technologies.

Step 4: Embryo culture. The embryologists will observe the embryos as they separate from two cells and then become into four compartments.

Step 5: Embryo transfer. A female’s uterus is observed through ultrasound and a tiny catheter.

In Invitro Fertilization treatment, after an embryo is transferred to the women's uterus, the starting twenty-four hours are very critical. This is because, during this period, that embryo has to be secure to the uterus wall to implant fully. This process demands several days. Thus, it is advisable to stay at home, rest, and take care of yourself for at least two days.

If an IVF baby is born from their intended parents’ sperm and egg, the baby will resemble their intended parents. However, If an IVF baby is taken from their intended mother egg and donor’s sperm, they will not resemble their intended father. Vica Versa.
